How to add a "Made by" badge to Webflow
Webflow lets you add code to every page of a site from the site settings, or to a single page from its page settings.
No badge yet? Create one in about a minute. It's free and needs no account.
Create your badgeSteps
- 1
Create your badge in the Maker Badge editor and copy your code.
- 2
In Webflow, open Site settings → Custom code.
- 3
Paste the code into "Footer code" (before the </body> tag) and save.
- 4
Publish your site. Custom code only runs on the published site, not inside the Designer.
- 5
To show the badge on one page only, use Page settings → Custom code → "Before </body> tag" instead.
What the code looks like
An updatable badge is a single line like this (the editor gives you yours). The self-contained version is longer but works the same way.
<script src="https://madebybadge.netlify.app/v1/badge.js" data-badge="YOUR_BADGE_ID" async></script>Good to know
- Webflow may require a paid site plan to run custom code.
Not showing up?
- Check the published site, not an editor preview: most builders only run custom code on the live site.
- Make sure the whole snippet was pasted, including the closing </script> tag.
- Use "Test page" in the Maker Badge code dialog to confirm the badge itself works.
