# How to add a "Made by" badge to Carrd

Carrd adds custom code with an Embed element.

## Steps

1. Create your badge in the Maker Badge editor and copy your code.
2. In the Carrd builder, add an element → Embed.
3. Set Type to "Code" and Style to "Hidden", and place it at the end of the body.
4. Paste the code, then publish your site.

- Embeds with code need a Carrd Pro plan.
